Dad

You Go ! I hope we recognize you when you are finished. You are still Bouncing Bionic Bob Bogle to me.

Maybe we will take out the Bouncing for a while.

Love you

Mary Eileen Tryanski

Come on brother of mine, you are doing great. Everyone is with you. We all wish we had your determination and stamina.

Just think of this. You have only 8 more days to ride after your rest day tomorrow and one of those days is only 20 miles. So that's more like only 7 days left.

Don't forget Betty will be there at the finish line and there is a banquet. Now ride brother ride.

Love you forever

Bob Tryanski

He told Hannah and me the same thing ('I'm going to throw my bike into the ocean when I'm done with this")

3400 miles admiring the grandeur of this great country of ours, while wearing the same underwear and socks for days at a time, and all he can come up with to celebrate this momentous achievement is the selfish act of polluting our ocean?

Frankly, I'm not inspired. If he wants to throw something into the ocean at the end of this, I would suggest he try tossing his underwear and socks. At least they're biodegradable.

P.S. We have more pics from our trip to Abilene to visit the Tour de France wannabe. 210 miles round trip by car- we were exhausted! How do we post these?

One more thought- I've been thinking that we should all be wearing a bracelet to support Bob in his epic quest. You know, like one of those Lance Armstrong things. I think I finally have the perfect slogan:

"Live Strong (Wear Pants to Breakfast!)"

Well, Michael, Bob has been very closely attached to his bicycle for seven weeks, so I'm not surprised that he would want to ditch it in the Atlantic before even thinking about seeing me. I will only be a poor replacement for the bike. And Bob T., Bob B.'s socks are red, so I'm not sure they would be biodegradable. I can relate to your exhaustion from the drive to Abilene to see your uncle. I have to fly to Boston leaving Fort Myers at 8:00 a.m.! How early I'll have to get out of bed!
